Merry Christmas :)
well, i was inspired by matt's family picture to put up the one we sent out. it took us tons of pictures just to get one where zuki wasn't yawning or trying to get away. animals just make taking pictures so complicated! in this picture, my mom says "zuki is so chubby in this picture" and i said "that's because she's chubby!" zuki got a new collar for Christmas. i had to tell her it's red instead of blue like the one she has now since dogs are colorblind right? anyway, hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! :)

I think I learned somewhere that colorblind only means that you can't distigush between red and green (which wouldn't make christmas all that fun) and between blue and orange (because of those cones, or rods, I forget which one), but that might only be for humans. And yes, my mom didn't care at all what the rest of us looked like as long as the dog looked good (and we talked her out of some awful ones too).
