Googling
Nicole's funny story tonight got me curious... what would I find if I googled my own name? Here's what I found out:
1. I am very good at Kendo, or at least I was in 1996-1999, I was even voted "most outstanding" in the aiea kendo club - didn't know that did you? better watch your back now before I hee-ya your butts (http://www.geocities.com/Tokyo/Palace/7157/banner.htm)
2. I like candy, disneyland, and I'm an expert at Playing Mafia!!! (http://www.xanga.com/BoobieTrappe)
3. I'm a big counter-strike playing dork! Hey, don't tease, my team went 13-6 this year. (http://esports.ampednews.com/?page=team&game=cs&league=cal&div=csm&tid=83100)
4. I go to Kaiser High School and I'm actually Samoan, who knew? (http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendID=17261527)
5. This is my girlfriend, we've been together for 3 years and have a baby boy (doggie) named Ron Jeremy. (http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=6073751)
6. I got a scholarship from some labor union.(http://www.afscme.org/publications/public_employee/ 1999/peja9919.htm)
7. My hard work led to the publication of Asian American Drama, which brings together more than 250 plays, along with related biographical, production, and theatrical information, providing a comprehensive overview of this growing field. (http://www.alexanderstreet2.com/aadr/aadr.about.html)
Ok, quiz time... which of the above links were actually me? Alright, I guess it wasn't that hard to figure out, only #6 & 7 were actually me, but I have no idea why I'm listed in the acknowledgements of #7, I've never heard of "Asian American Drama," but I guess it's me 'cause it says hamilton library, I guess one of those customers that I sent copies of literature to was REALLY thankful that I xeroxed some pages for him/her. Huh, I guess that part-time interlibrary loan job was worth it after all! Hey, that's more credit than I get for anything else I do, I think I missed my calling in the library sciences...

Dude, I tried googling myself, but all the posts were really about me. Sad, there are no fake me's out there.
